And a thunderbolt strike---
Hey, why did I never think about it that way?
Because Nettling is negative to one side, and I've only seen it that way, and when I saw D'Croix Nettling Miller, I empathized with Miller---I saw it from one side only. But what weakened Oaths and Enforcement strengthened Blood and Vengeance: Can I say one way or the other that this damaged or benefited Valde Bellum?
I think not. I don't know enough.
Miller was proud, and paid for that pride; we Nobilis have a pool of power, forever sloshing about, unless we are careful to keep it not-sloshing. He can make a case that his power, left in his hands, would be used better against the Excrucians. Henderson and D'Croix can make the opposite claim. Either way, not my business, nor, I think, Xypnios'.
(Hehehehehe. Hey, relief.)

OOC: I don't have my book on me, but from what I thought I remember, the process of Nettling isn't 100% efficient -- that is, the target loses more points than the winner gains? And so, in effect, there is a net loss of Miraculous energy available to fight Excrucians? Someone correct me if I'm wrong?
