I Want You (She's So Heavy) Jette-Ives

This is the first of two songs from the new “Beatles Regrooved” CD that are exclusive to iTunes. The album over-all seems intriguing and I’ll be searching out a hard copy in the near future.

This track is an alternate mix for a song that does appear on the released album. Where that song employs a more experimental grizzly beat, this one simplifies things and brings forth images of Fiona Apple and Supreme Beings of Leisure. Jette-Ives is a new outfit that seems poised to breath a little more life into the trip-hop scene. For a genre with far too few quality bands they’re a welcome addition. Their first CD will hit stores this fall. In the meantime this tune is one of the few bits you can get at. A taste of their other offerings can be had here: http://www.jette-ives.com/audio.htm

Be careful. There’s nothing in the track title to tell you which track is on the album and which is the iTunes exclusive. If you want the one that’s not on the CD grab the one that’s 6:40 in length.
