“Folsom Prison Blues (Live)” by Johnny Cash

Panda! Panda! Panda! Panda! Panda!

Folsom Prison Blues (Live)

The Cash classic with the line “I shot a man in Reno, just to watch him die.” This album was recorded at Folsom Prison in 1968 and that particular line seemed to please the *ahem* captive audience a great deal. Go figure. Originally the song was recorded in 1956 in Memphis on Sun Records and is everything that’s right about Country music. Cash would go on to record hits over the next five decades proving to be one of the most influential country artists of all time. But you already knew that.
